Overview
Welcome to Doyon Piano Logistique.
The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Doyon Piano Logistique. Doyon Piano Logistique operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience for pianos, piano delivery, piano moving, and related services.
Doyon Piano Logistique is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced herein, describe your rights and responsibilities when you visit our website, use our Services, purchase a piano, book a service, or otherwise interact with us.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully. By visiting, interacting with, purchasing from, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy, and any other policies posted on our website.
Our Privacy Policy can be viewed here: /policies/privacy-policy
Our Refund Policy can be viewed here: /policies/refund-policy
If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, you should not use or access our Services.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
Section 1 - Access and Account
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your province, state, or country of residence.
To use our Services, browse our online store, purchase a piano, request delivery, or book a service, you may be asked to provide certain information, including your name, email address, phone number, billing information, payment information, delivery address, and access details.
You represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account information and for all activity under your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to another person.
Section 2 - Our Products and Services
Doyon Piano Logistique sells pianos and may offer related services, including piano delivery, piano moving, piano pickup, piano placement, and other related services.
Most of our pianos are used, pre-owned, restored, refurbished, reconditioned, or previously owned instruments. Because of this, pianos may show normal signs of age, use, repair, restoration, cosmetic wear, finish imperfections, small scratches, dents, marks, or other age-related characteristics.
We make every reasonable effort to describe our pianos and services accurately. However, photos, videos, descriptions, sound recordings, and online information may not perfectly represent the exact appearance, sound, tone, touch, finish, or condition of a piano in person.
Colors, finishes, reflections, shine, wood tone, and product appearance may vary depending on lighting, screen settings, camera angle, and the device used to view our website.
Piano tone, touch, tuning stability, and feel can also vary depending on the room, temperature, humidity, flooring, placement, and environment.
We do not guarantee that the appearance, sound, tone, feel, touch, or quality of any piano will meet your personal expectations unless specifically agreed in writing.
All product descriptions, pricing, availability, and service details are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product or service at any time.
Section 3 - Piano Condition
Customers understand that used and pre-owned pianos are not new instruments.
Normal cosmetic wear, cabinet imperfections, age-related marks, finish wear, small scratches, small dents, signs of previous use, signs of restoration, minor mechanical noise, and normal tuning changes after delivery are not considered defects unless specifically misrepresented before purchase.
Pianos are sensitive to temperature, humidity, transportation, and environmental changes. After a piano is moved or delivered, it may require time to adjust to its new environment and may require tuning. This is normal and is not considered a defect.
Customers are responsible for maintaining proper indoor conditions, including stable humidity and temperature.
Damage or performance issues caused by improper storage, excessive humidity, dryness, temperature changes, unheated spaces, garages, basements, sun exposure, water exposure, improper handling, or moving by another party are not our responsibility.
Section 4 - Orders
When you place an order, submit payment, reserve a piano, or book a service, you are making an offer to purchase.
Doyon Piano Logistique reserves the right to accept, decline, modify, or cancel any order or service request at our discretion, including due to inventory availability, pricing errors, inaccurate information, access issues, delivery restrictions, safety concerns, or other circumstances.
Your order is not accepted until we confirm acceptance.
We must receive and process your payment before your order or service is confirmed.
Please review your order carefully before submitting it. Because pianos require scheduling, preparation, transportation, and professional handling, cancellation requests may not be possible once an order is accepted, a piano is reserved, or a delivery/moving service has been scheduled.
Your purchases are subject to our Refund Policy: /policies/refund-policy
Section 5 - Deposits and Reservations
A deposit or reservation payment may be required to hold a piano, reserve inventory, schedule delivery, or book a service.
Deposits and reservation payments may be non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If a customer cancels after reserving a piano, changes their mind, refuses delivery, provides inaccurate access information, or fails to complete the purchase, the deposit may be kept to cover administrative, scheduling, holding, preparation, transportation, or opportunity costs.
Section 6 - Prices, Taxes, and Billing
Prices, discounts, promotions, delivery fees, moving fees, stair fees, long-distance fees, and service fees are subject to change without notice.
The price charged for a product or service will be the price confirmed at the time your order or booking is accepted.
Unless otherwise stated, posted prices may not include applicable taxes, delivery fees, moving fees, stair fees, long-distance charges, special handling fees, or other service charges.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase, payment, billing, and contact information for all purchases and services.
You represent and warrant that any payment information you provide is true, correct, complete, and that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
You agree to pay all charges incurred at the confirmed price, including applicable taxes and fees.
Section 7 - Delivery, Moving, and Access
Piano delivery and piano moving are specialized services that require proper access, accurate information, and professional handling.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery or pickup information, including:
-
Full address
-
Phone number
-
Number of stairs
-
Stair layout
-
Elevator access, if applicable
-
Doorway and hallway measurements
-

-

Delivery times and service windows are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, parking issues, building access issues, customer delays, incorrect information, unsafe access, mechanical issues, or events outside our control.
If the piano cannot be delivered, picked up, or moved because of inaccurate information, unsafe conditions, restricted access, or circumstances outside our control, additional fees may apply.
We reserve the right to refuse or stop any delivery or moving service if we determine that the move is unsafe, impossible, or likely to cause damage or injury.
Delivery fees, moving fees, stair fees, long-distance fees, special handling fees, and completed service fees are non-refundable once the service has been completed.
Section 8 - Risk of Damage After Delivery
Once a piano has been delivered, placed, and accepted by the customer, the customer is responsible for the piano.
We are not responsible for damage, tuning instability, environmental issues, movement, scratches, floor damage, cabinet damage, mechanical issues, or other problems caused after delivery by the customer, another mover, another technician, improper storage, improper placement, humidity, dryness, temperature changes, or environmental conditions.
Customers should not move, drag, push, tilt, lift, disassemble, tune, repair, or modify the piano without proper professional assistance.
Section 9 - Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
All piano sales are final unless there is a confirmed issue with the piano, an error on our part, damage caused during delivery by our team, or where otherwise required by applicable law.
Returns, refunds, and exchanges are governed by our Refund Policy: /policies/refund-policy
Because pianos are large, heavy, delicate, and require professional handling, returns are not accepted unless approved by us in writing.
Customers must not attempt to return, ship, move, or transport a piano without our written approval.
Any approved return must be coordinated directly with us.
Return moving fees, stair fees, transportation fees, storage fees, and related handling costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part or damage caused during delivery by our team.
Section 10 - Completed Services
Completed services are non-refundable, including but not limited to:
